Terms of Service

These terms apply to website design and build projects provided by One Road Automations, operated by Vincent Harris in New York ("I," "me," or "One Road Automations"), for the business that purchases a project ("you" or "Client"). By paying a deposit or purchase price, you agree to these terms. A project may also be covered by a separate signed agreement; if the two conflict, the signed agreement controls.

1. Services

I design and build a website based on the package and any add-ons you choose (Starter, Standard, or Premium) as described on this website and confirmed in writing (email is fine). That package and its add-ons are the full scope of the project.

2. Prices and payment

• Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are one-time project fees.
• Standard and Premium projects require a 50% deposit before work begins. The balance is due on delivery, before the site and logins are transferred to you. Starter projects may be paid in full up front.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. I never see or store your full card number.
• Work pauses while any payment is overdue.

3. Refund and cancellation policy

• Before work begins: if you cancel before I start your project, I will refund your payment in full.
• After work begins: the deposit is non-refundable because it reserves my time. If you cancel mid-project, you owe for any work completed up to that point beyond the deposit.
• If I can't complete it: if I'm unable to complete your project, I will refund any amounts you paid for work not delivered.
• After delivery: once the site is delivered and transferred to you, payments are final.
• To request a cancellation or refund, email info@oneroadautomations.com. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.

4. What you provide

You agree to provide what I need to build the site (logo, photos, business details, services, hours, service area) and timely feedback. You are responsible for the accuracy of everything you provide, including hours, prices, licensing, and any claims about your business. You confirm you have the right to use any logos, images, and text you give me.

5. Timeline and revisions

Delivery is typically 5–7 business days after I receive all of your content. Delays in content or feedback extend the timeline. Each project includes up to two rounds of minor revisions during the build.

6. Delivery and ownership

On final payment, I place the website on hosting and a domain in your name and transfer all logins to you. You own the delivered website from that point on. I may show the completed site in my portfolio and marketing.

7. One-time project: no ongoing services

Each project is a one-time engagement. After handoff, I have no ongoing obligations. Hosting, domain renewal, maintenance, updates, content changes, backups, security, and support are your responsibility. Any future work you request is a new project, quoted separately.

8. Third-party services

Your site relies on services you control and pay for directly, such as your hosting provider and domain registrar. I'm not responsible for their availability, pricing changes, policies, or outages.

9. No guarantee of results

The website is delivered as-is at handoff. I don't guarantee specific results such as search rankings, traffic, leads, or sales.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, my total liability for any project is limited to the fees you actually paid for it. I'm not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
